Traffic restrictions
Motor vehicles are off-limits on Seestrasse (H17) between Schmerikon and Meilen and other roads in Rapperswil-Jona will be closed on 29 September 2024 from 9 am – 6 pm. It will not be possible to arrive or depart during this time.
The Rapperswil passage (H8) from Seedamm toward Rüti and Autobahn (Motorway) A53 will be open in both directions.
The lake Zurich ferries are in operation.
Riding the slowUp route on electric mopeds with yellow number plates is prohibited.
Changes in bus routes
Meilen bis Stäfa (Stand 2023)
- Linie 925 Meilen - Stäfa (VZO), 9 bis 18 Uhr
Die Busse werden umgeleitet. Zwischen Meilen und Uetikon am See sowie zwischen Männedorf und Stäfa können folgende Haltestellen nicht bedient werden: Obermeilen, Dollikon und Weid, Strandbad, Sonnenfeld, Asylstrasse und Spital. Es bestehen keine Ersatzhaltestellen - Linie 952 Stäfa - Kehlhof - Uerikon (VZO) 9 bis 18 Uhr. Betrieb eingestellt während des ganzen slowUp.
Schmerikon (Stand 2023)
- Linie 630 Uznach - Eschenbach - Atzmännig (PostAuto) 8.30 bis 18.30 Uhr. Die PostAutos wenden beim grossen Kreisel in Schmerikon und fahren via Neuhaus nach Eschenbach. Folgende Haltestellen werden nicht bedient:
- Schmerikon Bahnhof, Schmerikon Seeblick, Eschenbach Gublen und Eschenbach Mettlen. Fahrgäste zum slowUp fahren bis zur Haltestelle Schmerikon, Lanzenmoosstrasse.
Am 29. September 2024 können aus Platzgründen keine Velos mit den Bussen transportiert werden.
Alle übrigen Linien sind uneingeschränkt in Betrieb.

Cars that are parked in public spaces along the route may remain parked during the event. However, it will not be possible to drive away on the slowUp route from 9 am to 6 pm.
slowUp flyers and street signs have notified residents of the restrictions on motorised traffic. We thank you for your understanding! Spend 29 September 2024 without your car at the slowUp Zürichsee.
